Baby Bumblebee

This might be the cutest thing I've ever seen.

Evie took a dance class and they had a little recital, where they "danced" to "Bringing home a baby bumblebee."

Evie's friend Tessa took the class with her. They were adorable.

Evie didn't so much dance as bounce up and down. But she sure enjoyed doing it.

She has been talking about it ever since.

"Mommy! I will do dance class again. And you will come sit in chairs and watch me. All the people will watch me."

Yep, that was her favorite part. All the people there to watch her.

Lily - 4 1/2 months

This is a little late. But I love these pics.

She has great thighs. Roly poly thighs.
And great cheeks.
And she's even getting some hair!
She loves to clasp her hands, suck on her hands, chew on her hands.

Lily Susan, 4 1/2 months

Here are the stats.

Weight - 15 # 4 oz (75 th %)
Length - 24 1/2 inches (50 th %)
Head - 16 1/2 inches (75th %)

That's my girl. She loves her milk. She's a good eater. A good sleeper. She can roll back to front (though sometimes she forgets how). She smiles and giggles a squeals. She laughs the hardest and her big brother and sister - she loves them. And she's a snuggler.

If all babies could be like this, I'd have 20.

Disney, Part 3

Our 3rd day at Disney, we finally made it to the Magic Kingdom.

It was, well, magical.

We rode rides. Watched princesses dance (Evie still talks about this - and Luke loved it almost as much).

We ate lunch with Minnie Mouse and Chip N Dale. I think meeting the characters was almost the kids' favorite part of the trip. Totally worth doing.

Luke rode almost everything - Big Thunder Mountain was a favorite, along with the Buzz Lightyear ride. Evie was mad because she couldn't ride everything. That girl has no fear.

Luke loved meeting Minnie.

Ken got in a little smooch.
Even Lily got in on the action.

Riding some rides
Getting tired.

They loved it!

Disney, Part 2

On Day #2, we headed over to the Animal Kingdom.

I had never been there before - it was great. A little chilly, but great. My favorite attraction was an amazing Broadway-esque show of the Lion King, complete with trampoline-jumping and trapeze-flying monkeys, a fire dancer, and aerial performers. It was beautiful.

Luke braved the scariest (I think) ride at Disney - Expedition Everest. He was a good sport. But it was the only ride that made him cry. I was proud of him for at least trying (this is my boy who doesn't like new things).

The kids getting ready to go. The mouse ears came with us everywhere.
I love this picture. Love the princess ears.
On the safari ride. This was Luke's favorite.
Some great animals, up close and personal.
Posing for more pictures with the cousins.

Happy, happy day.

Disney, Part 1

Okay, so I'm finally getting around to posting our Disney pictures (don't be concerned that we got back almost a month ago now).

Our first day was at Epcot - it basically consisted of a few rides and lots and lots of Princesses. We went to a princess breakfast where they walked around, gave lots of hugs and took lots of pictures.

Evie was in heaven. In fact, she hadn't met Snow White yet and noticed that she was at another table. So Evie walked over and plopped her little self down at this random family's table, acting perfectly naturally, so she would be that much closer.

Waiting at the airport.

Excited and all ready to go. Waiting for the bus!
