Poll

Which B-list celeb do you think my adorable baby most resembles?

A. John Candy

B. Conan O'Brian

C. Ricky Gervais

(FYI - my sister came up with John Candy. It's not just us. And I may have noted that her baby -- at some angles only -- sort of resembles Mr. Burns. But her son, Calvin, was a dead-on-ringer for Winston Churchill. See the post here).

Easter Part 1

We got some eggs colored - this was the first year I haven't gotten one of the fancy tie die or sparkle kits.
.
I kind of miss 'em

The kids had fun (and looked cute in their bunny ears), their fingers turned green, and they were very impressed with the white-crayon-designs that show up when they die the eggs. I like the way they look all lined up in the holder, just waiting to be hidden.

Easter Part 2

Easter continues:

On the Saturday before Easter, we had a huge egg hunt with some of our friends and neighbor kids. There were tons and tons and tons of eggs. We are still finding 'em, now a couple of weeks later.

okay, how much do I love these pictures of Lily? So. cute. (Thanks, Stacey).

We made Easter-y cupcakes:
Found loads of eggs:
And ate tons of candy. I mean tons.

New cousin!

My sister just had her 3rd baby - and first girl! She is an absolute doll. We are so excited to have more little girls in the family.

We went up to meet her yesterday. Evie was so excited, she brought her a princess sticker. She held her and counted her toes. And talked about her for the next several hours.

I stole this picture of baby Sophie and my dad from my sister's blog. She is teeny tiny and perfect. I think she looks just like her brother Ryan.

Tiny thing!

Congratulations, Michael and Caroline!

Naptime

This is how Lily's been falling asleep lately.

Face covered with a blanket, sausage toes sticking out.

Love it.

6 months

This little munchkin is 6 months old now. It's hard for me to believe she's gotten this big, this fast.

She's still the happiest baby. She's been sick with her 4th ear infection and woke up the other day with a fever of 103. She was still happy, smiling and chatting up a storm.

She's getting better at sitting and prop herself up for a few minutes at a time. She can turn a little bit on her tummy. She spends most of her day chatting up a storm. She giggles when you tickle under her cheeks. She absolutely lights up when her brother and sister smile at her and pay attention to her.

The three stooges.
My girls.
I love 'em.
