The Perfect Pumpkin

Every year, we have to try out a new apple orchard and pumpkin patch -- and there are about a million in this part of Minnesota. This one was a little touristy but still okay. And though it was the not-so-perfect fall day (almost 90 degrees and hot!), Luke really had a great time -- especially running around the pumpkin patch. We got a wagon ride over to the patch and when Luke wasn't busy chucking the littler pumpkins around he was trying to show us how strong he was by picking up the big ones. We finally decided on a rather medium sized one, which he proudly proclaimed as we were getting off the wagon "Mom, we found the perfect pumpkin."
